Snowbird car shipping
Book early. Snowbird season fills up.

FAQ
Car shipping questions, answered.
How much does it cost to ship a car to another state?
Price depends on distance, the route's demand, vehicle size, whether it runs, open vs. enclosed transport and the time of year. Popular routes and snowbird season can cost more. Get an exact price in minutes with our form or by phone. The price in your quote is the price in your agreement.
How long does it take to ship a car?
Most cars are picked up within 1–3 days of your ready date. Once picked up, short trips under 500 miles take about 1–3 days, 1,000–1,500 miles takes about 3–5 days, and coast to coast takes about 7–10 days. We confirm your pickup window when you book.
Is my car insured during shipping?
Yes. Every carrier we assign must have active cargo insurance and auto liability, and we send you the carrier's certificate of insurance before pickup. The photo inspection on the Bill of Lading at pickup and delivery documents your car's condition.
Do I have to pay upfront?
No. Booking costs $0 and nothing is charged until your car is picked up. Your agreement spells out the total price and how the balance is paid.
Can I leave personal items in my car?
Carriers usually allow a small amount of personal items in the trunk, at your own risk: they aren't covered by the carrier's cargo insurance. No firearms, hazardous materials or valuables. Ask your agent what your carrier allows.
Do I need to be there for pickup and delivery?
You or someone you trust (18 or older) needs to be there to hand over the keys, review the inspection and sign the Bill of Lading.
Are you a broker or a carrier?
We're a licensed and bonded property broker (USDOT 4337331, MC 1694236). We match your car with a vetted, insured carrier already running your route, which is how we cover every state except Hawaii and get you picked up fast. You deal with us from quote to delivery.
How do I prepare my car for shipping?
Wash it so the inspection is easy, take your own photos, leave about a quarter tank of fuel, remove toll tags and loose items, and tell us about any leaks or mechanical issues. If the car doesn't run, tell us when you quote so we send a carrier with a winch.
Where is your car going?
